dance in all The Dance in All of Us

The Dance in All of Us gives those with autism the opportunity to explore rhythm, body awareness and movement in an effort to improve communication and interaction with others.

Participants in The Dance in All of Us will attend weekly dance classes touching on ballet and jazz with an emphasis on creative movement and expression.  All students will be accompanied by a parent, counselor or other responsible person who will act as a “shadow”.  Each class will meet for one hour per week for six weeks.

The Dance in All of Us will be conducted by veteran dance professional Elisabeth Harris. A certified instructor with Dance Educators of America, Elisabeth has been teaching specialized dance programs for autistic children and adults for almost two decades.

The Harris Conservatory for the Arts is currently seeking funding to continue this program. For information on sponsoring a portion of this program please call
